Laurie Maddox

Laurie has a PhD in Clinical Psychology and is a Licensed Psychotherapist in Florida. She is also a Licensed Psych Assistant in California and works with clients in both states providing Telehealth and Psychotherapy in her private practice in Central Florida.   OPS was born out of service to the collective and commitment to discussions about how numinous experiences promote psychological healing, spiritual growth, and consciousness expansion.

Shannon Kowalczyk

Shannon joined our team in November 2022 and is a gifted communicator and networker. She has an entrepreneurial background in health and wellness having owned her own healthy tea company, Serenitea. She is managing the daily operations and building community partnerships. Shannon is a Certified Life Coach.   

Director of Research

Sean O'Connor

Sean has a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is a teacher of Mindfulness Meditation courses and completed a year long training program in  Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training  through The Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, Berkeley. Sean has worked in neuroscience in the field of Brain computer interface and neuromodulation since 2015.  He co-invented a patent which combines EEG and AI. His personal spiritual journey began during his first 10 day silent meditation retreat. Sean has a passion for research and psychedelic integration psychotherapy.
